Amanda is a 34 year old lassie from Fife, who has been singing and playing parts in local musicals at Dunfermline's Carnegie hall since she was just a wee girl.
This got her accepted for the Scottish Youth Theatre, but unfortunately, due to lack of finances and sponsorship, she was unable to attend.
Her whole family always played the guitar, so she was
initially rebelled and learned to play a lot of different instruments.
It took until she was 14 that she allowed her dad to teach her a song on the guitar.
Once she got the taste of playing the guitar, she could no longer stop.
At the age of 15 she met her True love, who is now become her husband, and she started her own family aged 19.
However this rocked her confidence caused by the sudden attention she got when performing.
But when the Scottish independence referendum
was in full swing and she had pounded the streets
of Dunfermline with the yes team, she finally
realised that if Scotland could find the courage to
stand alone without fear, so could she.
Full of her new found confidence and determination
she pressed "post", placing her rendition of Caledonia
on Facebook, which went down very well.
The clip led to her performing in front of a massive crowd outside of Holyrood.
The year after, on the day of the General election, she performed a female version of Gerry's HOF song which led to no less
than 70.000 views.
Amanda has now played quite a few gigs for the tartan army, yes events and on SNP
meetings.

She is a loyal and always positive person,
which is why she is so good in her
daytime job as a care worker, while
juggling this with her music.

When she sings, the pride for her beloved Scotland shines through every phrase she so passionately sings.
Amanda feels strongly that the people of Scotland can show the world that they can make the decisions much better themselves, than Westminster as they have not got a clue what goes on North of London.
To her the fact that so many supporters worldwide want to support Scotland in becoming Independent, but at the very least stay in the EU, is simply overwhelming and truly humbling.
