James is an avid YES campaigner who also teaches Scottish History from a Scottish point of view.

James is an old-fashioned campaigner using a bullhorn and his voice and presence to make his views heard, unlike some protected pro union groups that like to heckle people by trolling them on their facebook accounts and making fake profiles.

As a founder of the Scottish resistance he received quite some negative attention from the mainstream press.

This however leaves everyone wonder why they never write anything about negative and militant actions that are being done by Britain first and other pro-union groups.

But then again they only write pro Westminster stories and never cease to try and smear pro independence campaigners.

THE leader of the pro-independence group was even held by the police for six hours over an anti-unionist video posted online 14 months ago.

Furious James Scott, described how they swooped on his home and then locked him in a cell before charging him with breach of the peace.

The video in question was created last September and is still on YouTube.

The video was made in response to some nasty, vile unionists who had threatened his life.

In the video in question they were called Nawbags and Brit Scum.

It is thought a complaint was made after the clip was re-posted on Twitter in June.

The police held Mr. Scott from 9 am to 3pm.

The Police said there had been no complaints until relatively recently.

He was reported for ALLEDGED communications offences.

Yet nothing was done to those who had threatened Mr. Scott's Live.

Mr Scott, 60, from Glasgow, said: “There is no freedom of speech in this country.

“I’ve never been in trouble in my life. We are a peaceful group.
